NIH Advances in Pain Research Symposium – Free, Tuesday May 1 2007 in Bethesda, Maryland

Open invitation to: Members of the extramural scientific community, the NIH scientific community, health care providers, and the general public. Photo ID required for entry. Register online at:

Purpose: To present new and exciting advances in pain research and pain management, featuring work done through NIH support. A poster session will include a broad selection of current pain research findings presented by young investigators.

Topics will include mechanisms and management of:

  • Neuropathic pain,
  • Visceral pain,
  • Inflammatory pain,
  • And treatment-induced pain.
