Research being conducted at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts – a suburb of Boston – will study the effectiveness and safety of an investigational drug for symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The trial is identified as NCT00401258 at ClinicalTrials.gov.

  • Do you suffer from diarrhea, constipation, or a combination of both?
  • Are you also troubled by abdominal pain, bloating, cramping, or discomfort?
  • You may have irritable bowel syndrome.

If so, then you’re invited to call the Biological Psychiatry Program at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts. The Biological Psychiatry Program seeks subjects for a 14-week research study using an investigational medication for irritable bowel syndrome.
