MCM: 20 CFS pts and 20 matched controls evaluated with brief
self-administered questionnaire on stress and other factors.
Found significant differences in reported level of stress in
the 5 years preceding the onset of CFS: Stress from health

(p=.034),.Also significant were history of PMS (p=.005),
eczema (p=.014), loss of interest in daily life (p=.025), and
