The National Fibromyalgia Association invites all FM patients, care providers, and advocates to attend two events set for Friday evening May 11, 2007 and all day Saturday, May 12 at the California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) Campus in Orange County, CA. The events, in honor of Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, are:

The "Dealing Out Hope" Casino Night Gala fundraiser
Friday May 12, 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight

Proceeds will go to the CSUF Fibromyalgia Research and Education Center. Attendees will enjoy extensive networking in a "Vegas-style" setting with casino games, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, a raffle, and live music. The one-day educational seminar on Managing Chronic Pain
Saturday May 12, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Attendees will learn about the newest pain management and treatment advances. Details include:

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Dennis Turk, Professor of Anesthesiology & Pain Research, and Director of the Fibromyalgia Research Center at the University of Washington. Topic: "Treatment of People with Fibromyalgia: Pills, Potions, & Physicians Are Not Enough."
