KGBY 92.5 (radio) in Sacramento will feature CFS on its "River City Sundays" program on Sunday, October 22 from 6:30 a.m.-7:00 a.m. Guests include CFS patients Mike Riley and Melody James and nationally renowned researcher Dr. Leonard Jason of DePaul University.
KCTC-AM 1320 Radio (Sacramento) will feature local physician Dr. Kenneth Lee on Scot and Sims Morning Retort. The 15-minute segment will air live on Wednesday, October 25 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
KXTV, Sacramento’s ABC affiliate (News10) will air a one-hour program about CFS on its “Sacramento & Co.” show on Friday, October 27, seen at 9:00 a.m. Dr. Jason and CFS patient Elizabeth Lockhart and her husband Robert will be guests on the program.
KFI AM 640 in Burbank/Los Angeles will air a news interview with expert CFS clinician Dr. Charles Lapp on October 29.
KCRA TV, Sacramento’s NBC affiliate (channel 3) plans to air the new television PSA about CFS, >“Missing My Life.”
“The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,” a traveling photo exhibit that’s part of the national CFS public awareness campaign, will be displayed at the Sunrise Mall in the Sacramento area (6401 Sunrise Mall, Citrus Heights). View the exhibit at the mall entrance to Macy’s Men.
A half-day seminar on chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia (FM) will be held in Sacramento in the Ose Community Room at KVIE Public Television (2595 Capitol Oaks Drive). The seminar begins at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited. To register, please call 704-365-2343. Tickets are $20 for preregistrants and $25 at the door.
