The class is organized around the newly revised course text – Managing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and FM: A Seven Part Plan – by CFIDS & Fibromyalgia Self-Help Director Dr. Bruce Campbell, PhD. CFIDS & FM Self-Help is a nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Campbell in 1998.
Dr. Campbell is a recovered ME/CFS patient. Formerly involved in chronic illness self help program development at Stanford Medical School, he has collaborated extensively in patient self-help & education projects with Dr. Charles Lapp, MD, director of the Hunter-Hopkins Center for treatment of ME/CFS, FM and MCS in Charlotte, North Carolina.
