Antioxidant therapy involves products that reduce the harmful effects of free radicals, molecules that can cause cell injury or death and contribute to the development of many illnesses. Common antioxidants are vitamins E and C, beta carotene, bioflavonoids, ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and grapeseed extract (proanthocyanidin).
