When going on long car trips it is important to ensure you’re comfortable. Try to keep these ideas in mind while you travel:
* Make as many stops as necessary to avoid fatigue and to stretch when joint stiffness begins to set in.
* Use a horseshoe pillow for head and neck support, and a lumbar pillow behind you for added back support.
* Install a sheepskin steering wheel cover to protect hand joints by allowing a looser grip, and special wide-angle side and rear-view mirrors to increase your field of view so you don’t have to twist and turn in the driver’s seat.
