Tip of the Day

If you have arthritis, just thinking about traveling makes you ache all over – but what if your destination promised to relieve those stiff joints and sore muscles? Sound tempting? Then pack your bags and head for a hot spring.

Hot mineral springs are a centuries-old aid for soothing aching joints and erasing stress. Warmth combined with the buoyancy of water relaxes muscles and joints and may even reduce stress-related insomnia.

There are more than 200 commercial hot springs in the US and Canada that provide a host of spa services, including massage and steam treatments.
