Tip of the Day

Just 30 minutes of exercise a day could ward off diabetes, say researchers at the University of Pittsburgh. A study of more than 1,700 non-diabetic men and women, aged 15 to 59 years, from two Native American tribes that have a high rate of diabetes, found those who received at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity a day were less likely to develop type 2 diabetes regardless of age or weight.
