Time for a detox? When your body is having trouble eliminating toxins, according to Cathy Wong, N.D., it may let you know in different ways:

–Digestive problems (bloating, gas, constipation)
–Sensitivity to perfume, MSG, caffeine or alcohol
–Bad breath, body odor
–Headache or joint pain
–Feeling sluggish or drained
–Difficulty concentrating

Other conditions that may indicate a need for detox include acne, eczema, allergies, PMS, migraines, and arthritis. Be sure to consult your primary care physician to determine the cause of any recurring symptoms, and to see whether a gentle cleanse may be beneficial for you.
