Tip of the Day

Whether or not you have been one of the superachievers who seem particularly susceptible to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), you will almost assuredly have to adjust your priorities and monitor your energies more carefully – this applies to those with fibromyalgia as well. Accustomed to jogging five miles every morning? Try to be satisfied with walking ten blocks instead. Were you a superaggressive salesperson? Perhaps you can develop some new sales techniques or content yourself with lesser professional achievements. Patients who function best are those who come to accept this hard truth: to live well with CFS [and FM], you must slow down the pace of your life.
