Regularly collect information on all aspects of your treatment plan in a journal and share it with all of the members of your health care team. If there are aspects of your plan that aren’t producing the results you expected as quickly as you expected them, discuss your concerns with the other members of your team and consider modifying your plan. As a team, explore and discuss alternate or additional treatment options and, before making a decision, carefully weigh the benefits and risks of each option before making a change.
