When facing illness or adversity, there are times when it can be tempting to give in and stop trying. It’s at these times you will have to dig deep and tap into your inner strength, which will be necessary to keep moving you forward. Look in the mirror and tell yourself, I can do it-I can win. If your body hurts and you’re having difficulties managing even the simplest tasks at home or work, tell yourself-out loud-I’m doing great, I’m getting better. Make a commitment to yourself to never give in.
