San Diego TV newswoman Brooke Landau has been a rock star to the Lyme community for many years now.

First, there’s the inspiring example of how she overcame many roadblocks in her personal journey with Lyme disease.

And then there are the ways she has been a national spokesperson for the cause.

Therefore, when we all recently learned she would be undergoing heart surgery, the community has been following her case closely. (Click here to read my prior blog about this.)

So, it gives me great pleasure to show you the latest message from her Facebook page:

Brooke Landau back at work after surgery

People who want to send her messages of support may do so via her Facebook page.

A pretty good way to start out 2019, yes?
