This is the second video in a series of updates about the plight of Karina Hansen, a young woman who contracted ME/CFS after falling ill with mononucleosis. Karina has been diagnosed with ME four times, and is severely ill. But in February 2013 she was removed from her home and taken to Hammel Neurocenter, where she is being treated with GET and CBT. The psychiatrists in charge of her care will not allow Karina's parents to visit her, unless they support her current treatment regimen. Both Karina and her parents are opposed to Karen's treatment plan.
