Do you want to have a say in how your chronic pain is managed?

The Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force [1] recently released their draft report [2] with recommendations to improvement the management of acute and chronic pain.  The recommendations cover a range of topics, from the importance of multidisciplinary care to considerations with opioid dosing.  After a public comment period that ends April 1, the report will be finalized and submitted to Congress.

Today, January 16, at 1:00 pm EST, the U.S. Pain Foundation is hosting a webinar with Cindy Steinberg, National Director of Policy and Advocacy for U.S. Pain. Cindy is the only patient and patient advocacy representative on the task force. In this webinar, she will discuss the draft report, what it means for people with pain and offer tips on submitting feedback.  A Q&A opportunity will also be available.
