For beginners just learning about a proper diet and developing a consistent workout plan, it is important to remember to not to take on too much too soon. Keep things simple and stick to the basics. For example, when starting your diet plan be sure to include a variety of different foods. By doing so, you are more likely to benefit from a wide range of health boosting nutrients. The American Dietetic Association recommends you chose foods sensibly, by reducing your intake of saturated fat, cholesterol, processed sugars and salt. Maintaining a variety of foods you will not feel deprived. In your exercise program, patience and dedication are very important. While your cardiovascular system will benefit immediately from your exercise, reducing fat and changing your shape takes time. It generally takes up to a month to see improvements in your figure. Start slowly and work your way up to better health.
