Tip of the Day

A positive attitude can truly affect an arthritis patient’s health. For example, a positive attitude:
* Acts directly on your immune system, hormonal system and cardiovascular system by releasing neurotransmitters that stimulate immune function.
* Increases the likelihood that you’ll engage in health promoting behaviors like exercising, eating well, and following a physician’s advice.
* Increases the likelihood that you’ll get support from friends, loved ones, and the community at large.
