Staying involved with your community can mean different things to different people. Reaching middle age means that you likely have plenty of wisdom and experience to share. Put those assets to work by offering your time and talents. Tutor at an elementary school, work at a food bank, campaign for a favorite political candidate or deliver for Meals on Wheels. Volunteer with an organization whose cause you support. Or head to your local library, a church or a religious group to find out about more volunteer opportunities.
