“Advances in Understanding and Treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia,” April 15-16, 2005, in the Salt Lake City area. This is an event for professional care providers.
A conference tackling complex conditions that afflict millions of Americans. A half-day program for patients and their loved ones starts at noon on April 15. An accredited day-and-a-half program for health-care providers starts at 7:30 AM on April 15 and ends at noon April 16. The keynote speakers are FM expert Dr. I. Jon Russell (University of Texas) and CFS expert Dr. Nancy Klimas (University of Miami). There are a total of 22 additional speakers, clinicians and researchers who will address many aspects of these invisible illnesses.
For the patient program, registration is $20 until April 8, and $30 thereafter or at the door. For the continuing medical education program, registration is $125 for physicians, $75 for other practitioners, $50 for full-time students or practitioners in training; $25 additional if registering at the door.
