Practicing good ergonomics can be helpful in limiting arthritis pain and stiffness while at the office. When working at your computer you should try to maintain a comfortable position. Your upper body should be spaced 20 to 26 inches from the computer monitor, the top of which should be at an even line with the top of your head. Your arms should hang comfortably at your sides, with your elbows at a right angle, and your wrists relaxed while typing.
