People who eat breakfast every day are one-third to one-half less likely to be obese and to have insulin resistance as those who skip breakfast.

Low blood sugar, whether in diabetics or in healthy people who skip meals or eat high-glycemic refined carbohydrates, reduces attention span and slows information processing.
