Dr. Anthony Komaroff advises doctors to be concerned about making the proper diagnosis when it comes to CFS. In fact, he believes only two to five percent of patients who complain of fatigue to their doctors actually have CFS. Other problems that should be ruled out are anemia, hypothyroidism and hidden malignancies.
