This  video, created by NutritionFacts.org, reviews research showing that eating plant foods (especially the first pound you eat in the day) lowers risk of cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s. Amazingly also, research has linked different vegetables and fruits to protection of different cognitive abilities (e.g. word memory, short term memory) – so both variety & quantity are important.
